Biron Osro Mann
Biron Osro Mann, 83, of Mt. Vernon died 5:20 a.m. Dec. 24, 2004,
at St. Mary’s/Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mr. Mann had been a factory worker in the Chicago area.
Born Sept. 19, 1919, in Brookland, AR., he was a son of
Edward Osro Mann and Martha Ellen (Eason) Mann.
A graveside service was held 11 a.m. today at Kirk Cemetery
in Ina with Mr. Randy Sells officiating.
No public visitation was held.
Mr. Mann was a Protestant.
Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Border and husband Lawrence of
Mt. Vernon and Rachel Mann of Farmington, Mo.; nephews Will Border
and wife Marilyn of Mt. Vernon and Rickey Mann and wife Dottie of Port Richey, Fla.;
a niece, Mary Ellen West and husband Joe of Centralia; several great nephews and
nieces, including Tonya Sanders and husband Tim of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother William Henry Mann and a
sister Lillian Swanner Sanders.
For those who wish memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan
Auxiliary and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey
Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
