Hattie M. Lamke
Hattie M. Lamke, 72, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Scheller, passed
away at 5:15 P.M., Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in
Clayton, MO. Hattie was a homemaker. She was a member of Epipheny Catholic
Church in St. Louis, MO.
She was born August 13, 1931 at Radom, IL, the daughter of Theodore and
Mary (Szopinski) Borowiak. She married Emil E. Lamke on May 15, 1954 at
St. Michael's Church in Radom, IL and he preceded her in death on
January 10, 2004. She is survived by five children - Ernest E. Lamke and
wife Tina of Scheller, IL, Marlene Kabat and husband Bob of Scheller, IL,
Ronald Joseph Lamke and wife Lisa of St. Louis, MO, Gary Lamke and wife
Karla of Nashville, IL and Nancy Humbrecht and husband Joe of Fenton, MO,
five sisters - Helen Kwiatkowski of Radom, IL, Bernadine Logan of Ashley,
IL, Theresa Rielly of St. Louis, MO, Jo Ann Suchomski of Knoxville, TN,
and Carol Chianta of St. Louis, MO, one brother - Ed Borowiak of Albion,
IL and fifteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mass of Christian burial was at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 4, 2004 at the
St. Barbara Catholic Church in Scheller with Fr. Daniel Jurek officiating.
Friends called from 4 to 8 P.M., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Rosary was prayed at 8 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Interment was in the
St. Barbara Cemetery at Scheller, IL. Friends may make memorials to
Cancer Research.
