Ruby M. Jones

Mrs. Ruby M. Jones, 79, of 1201 Forest Ave., died at 3:15 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hughey-Pulley Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Edward Sadler officiating. Burial will be in West Salem cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Jones was born Aug. 17, 1894, in Elk Prairie township, the daughter of Daniel R. and 
Elnora (Hamilton) Webb.
She was married Dec. 28, 1912, at Fairfield, to Alvin H. Jones.  He survives
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist church for 55 years, and was a charter member of 
the church's Dorcas Class.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Neil, of E. St. Louis, Harold, of Sterling, and 
Rynd, of Titusville, Pa.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and four sisters.
She was a former employe of the Mt. Vernon Township Relief Office and of Harry's Market.
