Minnie M. Jones

Minnie M. JONES, daughter of S. W. and Mary A. Jones, 
was born Feb. 1, 1866, in Jefferson county, near her late 
home. Departed this life Sept. 27, 1917, aged 51 years, 
7 months and 26 days. She was married to W. S. PAYNE
November 16, 1892; to this union were born 3 sons, 2 of 
whom died in infancy. She leaves to mourn her untimely 
death one son, Howard, Jones, and a heart broken husband, 
one sister and three brothers; father and mother, two 
sisters and two brothers having preceded her to the great 
beyond. She was a member of the First Baptist church, 
of Mt. Vernon, at the time of her death.
