Adele I. Ireland

Adele I. Ireland, 84, of Mt. Vernon died 1:32 p.m. Aug. 20, 2005, 
at Crossroads Community Hospital. She was an accountant. 

Mrs. Ireland was born Nov. 27, 1920, in Limeport, Pa., to Russell 
Forrest and Eileen (Broad) Egner. 

There will be a greeting of family and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. 
Tuesday at Kathy Ireland's home, 307 E. Beacon Court in Mt. Vernon. 

Mrs. Ireland is survived by her husband, George Ireland of Mt. Vernon; 
daughters Kathy Ireland of Mt. Vernon and Colleen Ireland of Phoenix, 
Ariz.; sons James Ireland of Southhaven, Miss., and George Ireland of 
Kell; grandchildren Dennis Medlock of Phoenix, Ariz., Aaron Hodge and 
Tyson Hodge of Mt. Vernon, Jennifer Ireland of Mt. Vernon, Chad Ireland 
of Southhaven, Miss., and Allison and Paul Badgett of Mt. Vernon; and a 
sister, Diane Pelosi of Grand Island, N.Y. Several great-nieces and 
great-nephews also survive, who were all very special to her, along with
her Meadowbrook Church family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell Egner Jr.; 
and two sisters, Lois Brask and Alice Fletcher-Cooke. 

Mrs. Ireland was a member of many local bridge clubs. 

For those who wish, memorials may be made to Green Tree Assisted Living 
Center and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey 
Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864. Arrangements have been
