Wilma R. Imig
Wilma R. Imig, 87, of Mt. Vernon died 7:55 a.m. Oct. 28, 2004,
at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was
owner/operator of a beauty shop in Groveland.
Mrs. Imig was born Oct. 29, 1916, in Jefferson County to Frank
and Maude (Newell) Place.
No public services will be held. Mrs. Imig is survived by a son,
Tim Imig and wife Melissa of Morton; daughters Karen Bean and
husband George of Waltonville and Sherrie Coppenbarger and husband
Ed of Morton; grandchildren Derek Imig and wife Raimey of Las Vegas,
Nev., Devin Imig of Oklahoma City, Okla., Nathan Imig of Morton,
Anelise Imig of Morton, Emilie Imig of Morton, Justin Lewis of Emden,
Angela Casey and husband Shawn of Berwyn, Joseph Beutel and wife Sherri
of Washington, Ill., Joseph Hengst and wife April of Morton, Gregory Bean
and wife Tina of Effingham and Anthony Bean of Cottage Grove, Wis.; seven
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers,
Paul Place and Claude Place; and three sisters, Sylvia Robinson,
Ruby Ion and Stella Dees.
Mrs. Imig was of the Protestant faith.
