I got to this site via a search on www.familysearch.org in which I posed the following information:
Robert STACEY
Mother: Sarah STACEY
I believe Robert to be the father of George STACEY who settled in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area around 1851. Sarah STACEY is my 2g-grandmother. She married William RANSHAW in England. George was born in England, and lived with William and/or Sarah at least part of his life.
I don't know what connection this has to Hardin County. Indeed, I don't know where Hardin County is located!
Any help you might be able to shed will be appreciated.

I am researching the Burton and Palmer surnames. My father was Troy Burton and his father was John Alen Burton. I believe John Alen Burton's father was Willis Burton and Willis Burton's father was Frank Burton. From Census reports I found that Frank Burton listed a son named Willis at proper age and Willis Burton lists a son named John (Johnnie) at proper age. John Alen married Hattie Bell Creamer and Willis Burton married Molly Winters. Frank Burton's wife is shown as Elizabeth (Lizzi). The Burtons lived in Hardin County. Is any one familiar with this line of Burton and if so can you provide some facts to firm up the census information collected?

I am searching for information on William Watters and Mary Black Watters. They are my great-grandparents. I know they lived in the area (maybe near Karbers Ridge) in the early 1900's. They had six children:
John who married Myrtle Vinyard (my grandparents)
Joe who married Della Brinkly (sp?)
William "Buddy"
Ezra Frank who married Ida (LKU). He served as a minister in the Karbers Ridge area and lived next door to a grade school on the main road into the ridge.
Eva who married Bluford Reiner (sp?)
Ida who married Stanley Martin.
Any information available would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
