Looking for a map of the Pope/Hardin/Gallatin area circa 1812-1830 that SHOWS SPECIFIC location of the McFarlane Ferry. Edmund Baker shows up 9/6/1814 in the Gallatin Co court records, being appointed a road supervisor. Any idea where McFarlanes Road would be today ?? (I understand that this is now somewhere in Hardin Co) I have also wondered where Edmund would have gotten the land that he was on at that time. Right smack dab between Peter Eters & Willis Hargraves. Any ideas on where to look for that kind of data ? This was on the McFarlanes Road. Which was part of Pope Co in 1816. I am looking for specific info on my BAKER clan from this area POPE/Hardin from 1814--- + Thanks Steve [email protected]
