Cornelia C. Flagler, infant daughter of William E. Flagler, of New York, died 7 Jul 1858, aged 4 months and 17 days.

      

19 Mar 1859:

Mr. Hazle died at Mr. Culp's last Sunday (13 Mar 1859).

 

15 Jun 1861:

Hiram Freeze died 10 Jun 1861, aged 31 years and 9 months.

 

29 Jun 1861:

The Rev. D. Jenkins died 22 Jun 1861.

 

6 Jul 1861:

Mr. Harris was killed at Tamaroa, last Saturday (29 Jun 1861).

 

13 Jul 1861:
Infant of Betsy Ramsey died last Friday (5 Jul 1861). (See also 24 Aug 1861, issue.)

 

27 Jul 1861:

Clarence Grear Piersol, son of Ignatius C. and Eleanore Piersol, died 19 Jul 1861, aged 2 years, 9 months and 5 days.

 

17 Aug 1861:

A child named Black, aged 8 years, died a few days ago.

 

24 Aug 1861:

Eliza Sumner, consort of Francis M. Sumner, aged 28 years, 6 months and 3 days, died 22 Aug 1861.

 

7 Sep 1861:

W.P. Marks, oldest son of Capt. S.B. Marks of Anna, aged 14 years and 10 months, died 19 Aug 1861.

Wilson McQuade, Co. A, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

W.H. Evans, Co. A, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

J. Meskil, Co. C, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

R.G. Stone, Co. D, 31st Illinois, was mortally wounded.

J. Kinslow, Co. D, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

T.G. Gentry, Co. E, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

J.R. Culp, Co. E, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

W.E. Lawrence, Co. F, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

J.B. Jennings, Co. G, 31st Illinois, was killed at the Battle of Belmont.

J.A. Van Hinning, Co. K, 31st Illinois, was killed at Battle of Belmont

M.J. Christy of Capt. Dollins's Cavalry died.

Dr. H.H. Dishon, of the 48th Illinois, aged 22 years and 5 days, died at Cairo, Alexander County, of pneumonia, 20 Nov 1861.

Mr. Carter, of Missouri, was shot and instantly killed Monday (18 Nov 1861).

 

30 Nov 1861:

Jasper Miller, of the Missouri Regiment, died 2 Oct 1861.

John Ross, of the Missouri Regiment, died 10 Nov 1861.

 

14 Dec 1861:

Syrian Davis, died at Havana, Cuba, 6 Nov 1861.

Mary Davis, daughter of Syrian Davis, died at Havana, Cuba, 6 Nov 1861.

 

28 Dec 1861:

Henry Brown, of the Missouri Regiment, died in a hospital at St. Louis last week.
