was born aboard ship (name unknown) from Germany July 28, 1864.
He is
supposed to have been recorded in Carlyle, Clinton co. IL. He
married
mary ellen STANLEY Oct. 9, 1886 in Danville IL. Otto had one
sister &
possibly other siblings. His sister's name Was anna HERBERT.
Otto worked
for the Anhauser Bush bottle co. in Cairo IL. Otto and Mary had 6
children, all boys, louis charles HERBERT bn 7/18/1888,

bn. 3/7/1890, frank p. HERBERT bn. 12/19/1893, Marley bn.
3/23/1897,
harry b.HERBERT bn. 12/29/1899, and william h. HERBERT bn.

and family moved from Danville IL. in 1905 to Seattle WA. I am
trying to
find the name of his parents, I would be greatfull for any
information. I
believe otto was wounded in the head in world war 1.
