This photograph taken about 1910 is of the descendants of Samuel Hinton (born 1837, died 1892) and two wives -- Mary Permelia (Meadows) Hinton (died 18 September 1868) and Minerva (Padgett) Hinton (pictured), (born 14 May 1842, died 8 April 1920). It was donated to the Catlin Historical Society by George Joseph (Joe) Moody. Photo includes 54 family members with 40 being identified.

This is a photograph of those attending a reunion 23 May 1912 at Henry Shute's house about one-half mile east of the old Parker School on the south side of present (1983) Road 1100N. Of the 46 family members, 8 are identified.

The above drawing is of J. H. Hewitt's Riola Farm 1915 and of the Joseph Allen Moody family.

Joe Moody stated: "This picture was redrawn from a weak photocopy in 1998 by George Joseph Moody. (Catlin Township High School 1938) The location is a farmstead on northwest quadrant of intersection of road 900N and the Catlin-Indianola Road. A few years ago it was owned by Maurice Elmore."
