Seeking any info on family of John and Margaret BRANNON. Lived in Christian Co.
around 1850. Children included: James, David, Elijah, Charles and others. John
BRANNON came from South Carolina, then married in Tennessee and later migrated
to Illinois.

I have run into a dead end.† My grandfather is from Taylorville, but he knows
nothing of his family.† I am looking for anything to do with the KEIRS family,
specifically Oveta Louise(?) KEIRS.† I am also looking for information about a
possible mining accident in the area that occured around 1925-1927 where people
may have been killed. Please, please, please help.

Looking for information on Joseph Clarence ADAMS (b. 14 July 1866) between 1900
and 1910. Wife is Ida Lee PARRISH
Elijah BANKSTON Jr. b. 1792 probably in GA, d. in IL. He appears in the 1860
Census Index in Christian Co. For a time he lived in southern Illinois near
Harrisburg, IL, it is believed, where there is a church at Bankston Cornors.
Trying to find if he was married and if so, who his children were. His brothers
were William, James, Alfred and Henry and one other person whose name is not
known.
Looking for any infor on LeRoy L. HILL Christian Co. Ill. He bought 40.0
ac.1854. He was married to ? or Nancy HALEY in Ky. I have his complete line
after 1854 He was born in Virginia I have found him paying taxes in Culpepper
Co. 1810 any help would be great.

children in Christian Co. or were married in Christian Co. Also looking for
information on Ellis LUPTON, father of Ruth LUPTON.

people I know are related to me. My father's mom and dad are Clyde Corneilus
CARRELL (his parents' were Mary Jane DOUGLAS and Fredrick CARRELL, I know they
were from the Pana area) and Martha Jane DEAN (her parents' were Richard
Clinton DEAN, whose mom and dad were Joseph Dodger DEAN and Melinda Jane
PUCKETT, and Julia Florence WICKERSHAM, whose mom and dad were James Martin
WICKERSHAM and Alice HILL, I believe they came from the Centralia area.) I know
Richard Clinton DEAN was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church in Pana and my
grandmother's Uncle Harry Logan DEAN owned a candy shop in Millersville. My
grandmother and I are looking for any records of these people or any
information about their relatives. If you can help us, please email me,
anything would be appreciated. When you were first opening your historical
society in Taylorville we stopped in and became members of course it has now
expired but we would be very interested in any new newsletters or mailings you
have.
