Gloria Wiseman 72, Oblong, Illinois died Monday January 6, 2004 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Gloria was born on February 12, 1931 in New Hebron, Illinois and was the daughter of George Emerson & Marion Geraldine (Tharp) Ready. On June 14, 1956 Gloria married William H. Wiseman and he preceded her in death on November 1, 1969. Gloria worked at Kroger's, Robinson, Illinois, Robinson Mfg. Company, several nursing homes in the area and then as a home care giver. She was a member of the Yale Church of Christ.
Surviving Gloria is one sister and brother-in-law: Alicia Newman-Lane & James W. Lane Sr., one niece and newphew: Mary & Paul White Jr. and Robert & Nikki Ready Jr., one great niece and nephew: Erica Ready and Brian Simmons, several cousins including: Pat Mitchell, Carl Robinson and Clare Krause.
Preceding Gloria in death were her parents, husband, two half brothers: George Ready & Robert Ready Sr., one half sister: Maxine Sauer and one cousin: Mary Davis.
Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
