Ruby Fern Waldrop, 85, Oblong IL died Monday August 7, 2000 at her residence. She was the daughter of Henry and Belle Hanson.
On December 4, 1933 she married Herman Waldrop, who passed away on October 12, 1981. Ruby had worked for the Ettlebrick Shoe Factory, on the candy line at Heaths and worked in the Labor Hall # 1280 all in Robinson, Illinois. She was a member of the Seed Chapel United Methodist Church. and loved to sew, quilt, raise flowers and do crafts.
Ruby is survived by Sons and Daughter-In-Laws: Keith & Martha Waldrop, Oblong, IL, Larry D. & Rheta Waldrop, Robinson, IL, Daughter, Shirley Garrison, Johnsonville, IL, Grandchildren: Toni Holt, Tamra Hoke, Twila Harrell, Brad Garrison, Traci Ackman, and Tangi Waldrop, ten Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, three sisters and son-in-law Dale Garrison.
