Goldie Marie Spencer, 76, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, Illinois. Goldie was born on October 2, 1928 in Martin Twp., Crawford County, Illinois and was the daughter of Jason Oscar and Agnes Alma (Lynch) Spencer. Goldie was a laminator at Robinson Transformer Company for 40 years. She was a member of the Berlin Church, rural . Goldie liked to crochet and collect owl figurines.
Goldie is survived by one brother: Jim O. Spencer; one sister and brother-in-law: Lela & Bill Barnbrook; seventeen nieces; eight nephews; forty-two great-nieces; thirty-three great-nephews; one uncle and several cousins.
Goldie is preceded by her parents, three sisters: Dora M. Littlejohn, Marjorie L. Spencer & Ellen R. Slane; sister-in-law: Dorothy Spencer; brother-in-law: Hershel Moffitt; two nieces: Clara Dunlap & Marjorie McKendree; one nephew: Tommy Littlejohn; two great-nephews: Jabriel Connley and Jim Budd and great-great-nephew: Mark Hughs.
Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery.
