Ellen R. "Becky" Slane 62 Robinson died Saturday March 10, 2001 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. Becky was born April 12, 1938 in Crawford County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Jason "Ben" and Agnes Lynch Spencer.
On October 22, 1955 she married Robert L. "Bob" Slane in Willow Hill, Illinois. Becky was a former cook at the Crawford County Convalescent Center in Robinson and was also a Homemaker. Her religious believes were of the Protestant church. Becky was a former member of the Crawford County Fraternal Order of Police Women's Auxiliary. She also loved to read, work crossword puzzles and crochet.
Becky is survived by her husband Robert L."Bob" Slane; 4 Daughters and Sons-In-Laws Martha & Gary Connely, Barbara & Robert Powers, Victoria Slane and Patches Slane; 5 Grandchildren T. Shane Connely, Tabitha Powers, Micheal Powers, Robert Norman Powers and Cecilia Rebecca Slane; 1 Brother and Sister-In-Law James & Dorothy Spencer; 2 Sisters and Son-In-Law Goldie Spencer and Lela & Bill Barnbrook; 1 Brother-In-Law Thomas Littlejohn; Uncle Eugene Lynch, Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Becky is preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Grandson Jabriel Connely; 2 Sisters Dora Mae Littlejohn and Marjorie Spencer; Nephew Thomas Littlejohn; Niece Marjorie Barnbrook and a Brother-In-Law Herschel Moffitt.
Burial is in Debord Cemetery rural Yale, IL.
