Betty J. Rich, 80, of Robinson, IL, died at 5:05 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2004 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson. She was born July 3, 1924 in Flat Rock, IL, the daughter of Chester Peterson and Loretta Miller Peterson.
She retired from Leaf in 1989 after 23 years of service in production and payroll.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles L. and Joni E. Rich, rural Flat Rock; her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia J. and Donald K. Wright, Robinson; 4 grandchildren, Justin Rich and his wife, Jeanne Rich, rural Flat Rock, Erin Adams and her husband, Travis Adams, rural Flat Rock, Dion Wright, Robinson, and Tammy Wright, Robinson; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Mary and George Snider, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Kenneth and Maxine Weger and Frances Marie Peterson; and 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, J. C. and Dorothy Peterson and Billy Peterson.
Private family funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 13th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock. Rev. Paul Gray is in charge of services. Burial is in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. There will be no visitation.
