Lorene Randolph 82 of Oblong, Illinois died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 7:48 A.M. at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Lorene was born in Crawford County, Illinois on October 7, 1919 and was the daughter of Frank and Flossie (Merrit) Perrine. On August 30, l938 Lorene married Clyde T. Randolph at Sullivan, Indiana. Clyde preceded her in death on December 11, 2001. Lorene was a homemaker and here hobbies included: emboridering and watching hummingbirds. She was affiliated with the Prairie United Methodist Church, Rural Oblong.
Lorene is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Marvin & Kathy Randolph, a daughter and
son-in-law: Linda and Joe Smith, 3 Grandchildren: George & Elizabeth Smith, Kathleen Smith and Joe Jr. & Terri Smith, 6 Great-Grandchildren: Ethan Smith, Brandi Langley, Tasha Adams,
Justin White, Ashley Smith & Krystle Bolen. Lorene is preceded by her parents, husband, one son: Kent Lee Randolph in 1973 and one daughter: Beverly Ann Randolph who died at birth.
Funeral time and date is 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2002 at in Oblong, with Bro. Jack Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery, Rural Oblong. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 P.M. Thursday. Honorariums may be made to the Oblong Schools Academic Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.
