Patrick J. Quinn, 84, of Robinson, IL, died at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. He was born August 17, 1919 in Sterling, Scotland, the son of John Quinn and Bridget Brushford Quinn.

He served in the U. S. Army in the 4th Armored Division during WWII in Europe. He worked as an auto mechanic at Vigo Dodge in Terre Haute, IN. He was a member and past Commander of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, past member of the Robinson Moose and Robinson Elks Lodge #1188, and a member of the Robinson American Legion Post #69.

He married Mary Jocelyn Clump August 31, 1942 and she survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Roberta Quinn, Robinson; his granddaughter, Maryann, Robinson; 2 sisters, Patsy Callahan, Selden, NY, Betty Szatynski, Yonkers, NY; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Francis and Patricia Quinn, Apex, NC, Joseph and Ellen Quinn, Montgomery, TX; 1 brother-in-law, George Springman, W. Palm Beach, Fl; 2 sisters-in-law, Lillian Quinn, Cicero, NY, and Audrey Quinn, Sun City, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Jack, Alex, James, and Robert Quinn; and 1 sister, Peggy Springman.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the Newlin Cemetery, Robinson, IL with Father Jeff Goeckner in charge of services. Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
