Wanda M. Perkins, 75, Oblong, passed away at 10:46 A.M. EST Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana. Born January 3, 1932, in San Francisco, California, she was the daughter of Perry Miller and Mae Wuertzberger.

Wanda was the owner and operator of Paul's Cue Club and Lunch Room in Oblong for 25 years. Her restaurant was an expression of her love of people and her love of family. She often fed customers who had no way to pay for the food. Even when her elderly customers could not make it to the restaurant, she would call them and have her family deliver the food to their homes.

On September 27, 1947, she married Paul E. Perkins, who survives. Also surviving is one son an daughter-in-law, Mike & Jeanne Perkins; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teena & David DeVries and Penny & Ed Craig; four granddaughters and their significant others, Jill Ridgley & David Price, Mandy Sanders & Jason Littlejohn, Jamie & Chris Ochs and Christen Sanders & Scott Dunlap; six great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life, Levi Steinman, Peighton Arnone, Jadon & Kalin Littlejohn, Xander Ochs and the new light of her life 5 month old Lakin Paige Littlejohn; six extended great-grandchildren, Christopher & Andrew Ochs, Megan & Robert Ridgley and Scotty & Logan Dunlap; two sisters and brother-in-law, Dorthy Frichtl and Evelyn & Calvin Spleen; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Miller and Perry Miller Jr.; her step-mother, Vera Miller; one grandson, Carlin Steinman.
