Pauline Parker, 80, of Hardinville, IL, died at 10:54 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born December 3, 1924 in Hardinville, IL, the daughter of Harry Price and Oma McColpin Price.

She retired from Marathon Oil Co as a secretary. She graduated from Oblong High School and Terre Haute Business School. She was a member of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church, Robinson and attended South Union Church, rural Flat Rock.

Pauline was noted for her generosity in funding many different organizations.

She married George W. Parker April 10, 1945 and he preceded her in death August 8, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Eugene Price; and a nephew, Gary Paul Martin.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Wally Martin, Robinson; her sister-in-law, Norma Price, Robinson; several nieces and nephews, Marcy Price, Van Price, Barbara Martin, Phyllis Michael, Jerry Lee Martin, and Danny Martin.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2005 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Jerry McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, August 21st. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society or to the Oblong Christian Children's Home with envelopes available at the funeral home.
