Oren Olen O"Dell, 62, of Cape Girardeau, MO, formerly of Robinson, IL, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital, Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born September 20, 1944 in Sumner, IL, the son of Elda Oren O"Dell and Clista Yingst O"Dell.
He retired as maintenance manager of apartments and was a Master Mason in Cape Girardeau. He was also a member of the Chicago Local #1150 Operating Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his sister, Norma Lee Shaffer.
He is survived by his mother, Clista O"Dell, Robinson; his 2 sons, Timothy Mathew O"Dell, Cape Girardeau, MO, Ronald Edward "Doc" O"Dell, Los Angeles, CA; his daughter, Lisa Michelle, Tarrant, Alabama; 6 sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Parkes, Robinson, Alice Watson, Palestine, Lulu and Jim Finney, Oblong, Darlene and Jerry Schuchmann, Milam, TX, Donna Binder, Robinson, Twyla and John Boa, Robinson; 3 brothers and a sister-in-law, Gary O"Dell, Robinson, Bill and Becky O"Dell, Flat Rock, Jake O"Dell, Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be cremation in Cape Girardeau, MO. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson.
