Mrs. Peggy Mills died last Sunday at her home here of infirmities adduced to old age, being 77 years old. She was the wife of George Mills to whom she was married twelve years ago, at which time she was the widow of Wm. Ayers. Her remains were interred Monday. For seven years past Mr. and Mrs. Mills have been receiving aid from the county, and since his wife's death Mr. Mills has been removed to the county farm.
