Myrtie M. Miller, 50,of rural Palestine, IL, died at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2003 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. She was born April 26, 1953 in Robinson, the daughter of Vern Miller and Rachel Bonham Miller.
She owned and operated the "Cracker Box" restaurant in Palestine and was a member of the Robinson American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Rusty Utley, St. Marie; her son, Jesse Miller, Auburn, CA; 2 grandchildren, Haley and Hunter Utley, St. Marie; her mother, Rachel Miller, Willow Hill; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Mollie and Richard Houser, Willow Hill; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Annice and Barbara Miller, rural Flat Rock, Ben E. Miller, Trimble, Johnie Miller, Indianapolis, IN, James and Lexene Miller, Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, LaVern Miller.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from noon Tuesday until service time at 2:00 p.m.
