John W. Milam, 50, Decatur, IL and formerly of Oblong, IL died at 7:50 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2007, at his brothers residence in Rantoul, IL from cancer. Born September 22, 1956, in Robinson, he was the son of Elmer James Milam Jr. and Shirley Marie (Husky) Milam. He was a laborer in construction. His hobbies included fishing and hunting.
John is survived my his grandmother, Virgie Smith; four daughters, Amber, Rancie, Mindy and Bobbie; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim & Anna Jo Milam, Jack Milam, Rick & Gloria Milam, Anthony & Vivian Milam and David & Karen Milam; one sister, Gina Milam; aunt and uncle, Donna & Lavern Meese; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
John is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth; and two sisters, Tina & Pam.
Burial will be in Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
