Delores McKinney, 87, of Robinson, IL, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center. She was born May 6, 1917 in Cardington, OH, the daughter of Clayton Michael and Minnie Mitchner Michael. She was a homemaker and a ward clerk at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.
She married Charles L. McKinney February 27, 1938 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Florence Patterson and Audrey Ikemire, twin granddaughters, Melissa and Theresa McKinney, and grandson, Jackson Wapner.
She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Donald L. and Mary McKinney, Robinson, Jerry Wayne McKinney and companion, Ron Dean of Tampa, FL, James Alan and Melanie McKinney, Robinson; 4 grandchildren and spouses, Laurie Machelle and Kyle Inboden, Robinson, Denise Renee and Jeff Craig, Robinson, Charles Scott McKinney, St. Louis, MO, and Jesse Austin McKinney, Robinson; 5 special step grandchildren, Jeremy Correll, Justin Opiela, Lance Opiela, Stephanie Love, Jordan Wapner; 3 great grandchildren, Miranda Inboden, Tyler Inboden, and Curtis Craig, all of Robinson; 2 former daughters-in-law, Sue Harrison, Palestine and Cathy McKinney, Robinson; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Alexander, Olney, Rosalie and Bob Crampton, Robinson; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Phyllis Michael Robinson; her brother-in-law, Noel Ikemire, Oblong; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and until service time on Sunday.
