Guss Edwin McCoy 75 of Princeton, Indiana Died Thursday August 31, 2000 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, Indiana. He was born on December 12, 1924 in Jasper County, IL. He was the son of Walter & Flora Wilson McCoy.
On October 9, 1944 he married Gertrude Beach. Guss was employed at Bailey Sawmill - Robinson and N. & S. Trucking as a mechanic in Sommerville, Indiana. He was a member of Bethany Congregational Christian Church. He also was a member of The Moose both in Princeton, IN. and Mt. Carmel, IL.
His wife Gertrude: 6 sons and Daughters-In-Laws survive. Guss Laws, Roger McCoy, Guss E. McCoy Jr., Jerry McCoy, Larry & Cathy McCoy, Floyd Everett McCoy and Gary & Renne McCoy. 4 Daughters & Son-In-Laws, Nancy McCoy, Wanda & Clettis Flannery, Janice McCoy, Sharon & Norman Madison. He is also survived by 38 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by, his Parents, 1 Son (Walter) 1 Grandson (Randy McCoy) 1 Granddaughter (Lacey McCoy): 4 Brothers, Otis, Herschel, Charlie & Ivan McCoy; 3 Sisters; Reva, Gladys, Gilleaspy and Freda Lanter.
Burial is in Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County.
