Alneta Mae McCarty, 83, of rural Flat Rock, IL, died at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, IL. She was born March 16, 1921 in Piasa, IL, the daughter of William Wilson and Cora Stanton Wilson.
She was a clerk for Illinois Bell Telephone District Office.
She married Walter Dick McCarty on August 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Lloyd Wilson.
She is survived by her son, Keith McCarty, Brodhead, Wisconsin; her daughter and son-in-law, Karyn and Ron Frauli, rural Flat Rock; her sister-in-law, Leona Wilson, Godfrey, IL; 3 grandchildren, Christina Frauli, Edwardsville, Kristi McCarty, Brodhead, WI, and Sara McCarty, Broadhead, WI; and locally by her sister-in-law, Joan McCarty, Robinson.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2005 at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL with Rev. Dean West officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock is in charge of arrangements.
