Leo L. Lindsey, 74, Robinson, Illinois died Wednesday December 29, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. Leo was born on September 23, 1930 in Grand Prairie Twp., Crawford County, Illinois and was the son on Pearl and Florence (Newlin) Lindsey. On September 9, 1950 Leo married Mary Lou (Kintner) and she survives. Leo served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Marathon Refinery in Robinson, Illinois where he was foreman in the machine shop until he retired in February, 1986. Leo was a member of the Central United Methodist Church where he was very active, serving on several committee's. Leo's hobbies included woodworking, hunting, fishing, golfing, antique cars and genealogy.

Leo is survived by his wife Mary Lou; one son and daughter-in-law Dr. Jim & Dr. Laura Lindsey; two daughters and son-in-law Linda & Dan McGurren and Sandi Lindsey; six grandchildren Matthew Smith, Kyle Smith, Brandi Lloyd, Kaycee Connell, Kellie Connell and Jackson Lindsey; three sisters and brothers-in-law Neva and Harold Otey, Blodwyn Price and Ruby & Ellis Hamilton; two sisters-in-law Imogene Lindsey and Bettye Lindsey; one aunt Mildred Lindsey; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Ed & Pat White and Bill Kintner and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Leo in death are his parents, two brothers Keith & Max Lindsey and one brother-in-law Merle Price.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
