Jackie "Jack" Wayne Laffoon, of Robinson, IL died at 11:45 a.m. (e.s.t.) Saturday, April 02, 2005, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, IL. He was born July 28, 1944 in Hopkins County, KY, the son of Wayne Laffoon and Maxine Weger Laffoon. He was employed as a mechanic for Bob Monk auto sales, was a former owner of the Sugar Bowl Café in Robinson, and a former member of the Robinson Elks Lodge #1188. He was a member of the Highland Ave. Baptist Church and had been the custodian at Highland Baptist Church.

He married Nancy Musgrove on August 27, 1977 and she survives. He is also survived by 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Jan Parker, Robinson, Bob and Sharon Parker, Marion; his step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Jennifer and Chris McManigell, West Salem; 3 step grandchildren, Kristina, Sarah, and Jacob McManigell, West Salem; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services are Tuesday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Rev. Jerry McDaniel is in charge of services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
