Stanley Eugene Kreger, 91, of Huntsville, AL, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at his residence in Huntsville, AL. He was born March 22, 1913 in Aide, OH, the son of Albert and Olive Russell Kreger. He was a member of the Huntsville First United Methodist Church, the Huntsville, AL South Point Ohio Masonic Lodge, Redstone Arsenal Officer's Club, Huntsville, AL, and Huntsville Elks Club #1648. He was a graduate of Ohio State University in 1937, and retired as a Lt. Colonel with the U. S. Army, having served in WWII.

He married Anna Delay on May 23, 1946 and she preceded him in death on January 18, 1973. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ben Kreger; and his sister, Maude Kreger.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy E. and Dominique Kreger, Huntsville, AL; his daughter, Pamela Wynn, Huntsville, AL; and 5 grandchildren, Kevin Wynn, Timmy Wynn, Justin Wynn, Cale Kreger, and Jack Kreger, all of Huntsville, AL.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, IL. with Rev. Jan Laws officiating. Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine is in charge of local arrangements. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Robinson American Legion Post #69, the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, and the Amvets Post #33.
