Bonnie Pool Jones, 64, Oblong, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. Born on January 15, 1942 in Olney, she was the daughter of Clark Noble Pool and Anna Lee (Lathrop) Pool. She worked for Goldsmith's Clothing in Oblong for several years, Peoples Building & Loan, Oblong and Crawford County State Bank, Oblong until 1998. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Oblong. Her hobbies included sewing, reading, sports and spending time with her family.
On December 27, 1961, she married Walter R. "Walt" Jones Jr., who survives. Also surviving is her mother, Anna Lee Pool; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kara & Clint Wartsbaugh, Kelly & Cesare Laino and Deena & Graylin Campbell; seven grandchildren, Audrey & Garrett Wartsbaugh, Allyssa Shull, LaBron & Tourean Campbell and Zander & Nyah Laino; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry Joe & Linda Pool; one sister, Peggy Ann Pool; three nieces and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father, Clark Noble Pool, December 24, 1969 and one infant brother.
Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Claremont, Illinois.
