Rosetta Taft Hunsaker, 94, of Robinson, IL, died at 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. She was born February 9, 1911 in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of John Wesley Taft and Naomi Jessie (Joyce) Taft. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois, a Masters Degree in Education from Indiana State University. She was a teacher for 25 years. She taught at Bridgeport Grade School, Bridgeport, IL and she taught English and History at Robinson High School. She attended the Robinson First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the AAUW, AARP, the Crawford County Teachers Association, and a past member of the Woman's Club.

She is survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Hia Hart, Phoenix, AZ, and Joanne Walters, Hudson, IL; and 1 brother-in-law, Ken Hunsaker, Wales, England.

She married Frank "Doc" Hunsaker, February 2, 1931 and he preceded her in death on August 22, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Wesley Taft; 1 brother-in-law, Curt Hunsaker.

There will be no services. Burial will be in the Danville Veterans Cemetery, Danville, IL. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Robinson First United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
