Mina Grace Hodson, 93, of Robinson, IL, formerly of Flat Rock, IL, died at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born March 11, 1911 in Shelby County, IL, the daughter of John Miller and Maggie Jones Miller. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, Robinson.
She married Max Wayne Hodson on July 3, 1928 and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Ed Miller, Clessie Miller, and Lou Miller; 3 sisters, Vesta Prater, Eliza Parker, and Rosa Taylor.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Burnas Hodson, Robinson; 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Terry and Marlene Hodson, Flat Rock, Paul and Carri Hodson, Robinson, Diane and Pat Burnett, Flat Rock; 12 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ruby Bartalino, Litchfield, Alta Brunk, Shelbyville, Stella Zanders, Shelbyville; 1 brother, Harold Miller, Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL. Visitation will be Friday, August 20th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Highland Church of Christ with envelopes available at the funeral home.
