Jennie, wife of John Higgins, died Sunday morning of consumption. Funeral services were held at the house Monday afternoon by Rev MacHatton of Duncanville, after which the remains were interred in the cemetery at this place [Palestine]. She leaves a husband and two girls to mourn her death.
