Berniece A. Henry, 93, , passed away Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Berniece was born on July 19, 1912 in Lilbourn, Missouri and was the daughter of Irwin F. & Agnes (Michael) Harris. On September 3, 1930 Berniece married Raymond Kesler and later on December 10, 1955 she married Orlie Henry and he preceded her on October 7, 1972. Berniece worked as a coil winder at the Oblong Electronics Plant, worked in the Activity Center in Oblong and she was also a homemaker and very early in life was a oil field pumper. Berniece was a member of the First Christian Church in Oblong, Ladies Auxiliary - Oblong American Legion Post #219, Church clubs, Tuesday Card Club at the Oblong Activity Center. Berniece was an avid flower gardener and a wonderful pie baker & noodle maker.

Surviving Berniece is one son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Ray & Ann Kesler; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley & Clair Correll; one step daughter, Wanda & Harold Boyd; three grandchildren, Randal & Michelle Correll, Russell & Jan Correll and Eric & Marlo Kesler; nine step grandchildren, Kent Boyd, Terry Lee Henry, Michael Henry, Roger Henry, Steve Henry, Cindy Hippensteal, Tami Allen, Susan Zerrusen and Jeff Henry; seven great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; four step great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Berniece is preceded by her parents, four sisters, Esther Cox, Edna Yetter, Belva Yetter & Ida Mouser; two step-sons, Charles & David Henry and one step-granddaughter, Kathy (Henry) St. Germain.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
