Allyne Gail Hash 86 of Boonville, IN, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville. She was born September 24,1917 in Owensville, IN, the daughter of Henry Newcome and Clara Troncin Newcome. She attended grade school in Owensville, IN and high school in Washington, IN. Allyne was a homemaker and had worked as a receptionist for Schmidt Clinic in Robinson, IL. She was a member of the Palestine First Presbyterian Church; the Ladies Sunday School Class; and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Allyne married Robert H. Hash on April 21, 1934 and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1999. They lived in Edwardsport, IN until 1941 when they moved to Palestine. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her 2 sisters, Helen Smith and Nadine Tucker.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Harold R. McClary, Boonville, IN; her son and daughter-in-law, Leslie G. and Carolyn Hash, Paoli, IN; 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Tamara and Clayton Knight, Boonville, H. R. and Colleen McClary, Owensboro, KY, Jeffery and Lori Hash, Aurora, IN; and Robert Hash, Paoli; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Esther Pfeifer is in charge of services. Burial is in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation is fom noon Sunday until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine.
