Rosalee Guyer, 81, of Robinson, IL, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center. She was born July 20, 1925 in Marshall, IL, the daughter of Owen Justin Hendrix and Ada Burkett Hendrix.

Rosalee worked for several years at the Robinson Township Library. She was a member of the Robinson First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Ruth Lind Circle. She was also a member of the James Halstead Sr. Chapter of the DAR.

She married Ira "Dean" Guyer April 7, 1946 and he survives. She is also survived by 2 daughters, Dennette Lee Guyer, Vandalia, IL and Cheryl Lynn Guyer, Hopkinsville, KY; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael Dean and Beth Guyer, Chula Vista, CA; 3 grandchildren, Karen and her husband Warren Withrow, Columbus, GA, David Guyer, Chicago, and Kevin Guyer, Chula Vista, CA; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Imogene Graff, Gibson City, Wilma Slayton, Fairbury, Virginia and William Challis, Chatham; her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Norma Hendrix, Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Max Borah is in charge of services. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home from noon Tuesday until service time at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Robinson First United Methodist Church with envelopes at the funeral home.
