Dorothy Inboden-Griffin, 83, of Trimble, IL, died at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, IL. She was born November 5, 1923 in Trimble the daughter of Walter Knapp and Viola Pierson Knapp. She was the manager of the IGA, Robinson for several years prior to her retirement. She married Keith "Swannee" Griffin November 27, 1991 and he survives. She is also survived by 2 step-sons and their wives, John and Marian Griffin, Dayton, OH, Lantz and Mary Ann Griffin, Robinson; 2 step-daughters, Lesliee Manhart, Robinson and Jeri and her husband William Manhart, Piper City, IL; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Joann Griffin, Bayfield, CO; sister-in-law, Marjorie Griffin, Newton, IA; step-daughter-in-law, Betty Griffin, Alexander, LA; local nieces, Sue Redmon, Robinson and Carol and Perry Garner, Jr., Albion, IL and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Claude Davis and Charles Inboden.; 2 step-daughters, Karen Horn and Linda Griffin; step-son, Jim Griffin; 2 brothers, Harry Knapp and Paul Knapp; 1 sister, Eva Redman; and 2 nephews, Roger Knapp and Warren Redmon. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Rev. David Hyde officiating. Memorials may be made to the Trimble Bible Church or to the Crawford County Humane Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
