Madeline C. Goss, 75, Rural (The Bend Area) died Tuesday April 4, 2006 at Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, Illinois. Born July 5, 1930 in Jasper County (The Bend Area), she was the daughter of Raymond Yager and Margaret (Bergbower) Yager. On January 30, 1948 she married Joseph L. "Joe" Goss and he preceded her in death on January 13, 1997. Madeline was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Valentine Catholic Church in the Bend Area and the Ste. Marie American Legion Auxiliary. Gardening, fishing and her family were her hobbies.
Madeline in survived by ten children and spouses, Gary & Pam Goss, Richard "Tino" & Ronnie Goss, Terry "Buggs" & Jane Goss, Mike Goss & Angie, Keith Goss, Lenny & Chris Goss, Diane "Dee" Kurpiel, Carla & Bill Waggoner, Priscilla "Poodie" & Mark Zumbahlen and Tammy & John Kistner; twenty-six grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Florent & Delores Yager and Francis & Judy Yager; one sister and brother-in-law, Jean & Gerald Goss and several nieces and nephews.
Madeline is preceded by her parents; husband; two sons, Louis & Harold Goss and one brother, Paul Yager.
Burial will be in the South Bend Cemetery, Rural Jasper County, Illinois.
