Elizabeth V. Goss, 92, Detroit, Michigan formerly of rural (the Bend area) passed away Monday July 4, 2005 at her residence. Elizabeth was born on May 25, 1913 in the Bend area, Jasper County, Illinois and was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Fisher) Menacher. On July 4, 1932 she married Frank Dean Goss and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1972. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of the St. Valentine Catholic Church in rural Jasper County. Her hobbies included quilting and gardening.
Elizabeth is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Delbert & Donna Goss, Gerald Goss and Gilbert & Nancy Goss; four daughters and son-in-law, Virginia Herr, Patsy Boren, Carolyn Baldwin and Linda & Clyde Street; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is preceded by her parents; husband; three sisters: Emma Harding, Mary Goss & Kate Shyrock and three brothers: Frank, George and Joe Menacher.
Burial will be in the South Bend Cemetery, Rural Jasper County, Illinois.
