Crawford Lodge No. 124, I. O. O. F., observed last Wednesday as memorial day. Services were held in the lodge room at 8 pm. The charter of Crawford Lodge was granted in 1853. The Lodge surrendered the charter during the Civil War, and in October, 1875, was reinstated. From that date until the present year 143 members have joined the order. The members who have died in good standing are as follows:
A. W. Gordon, died Nov. 11, 1879, and is buried at Robinson, IL.
Howard Lutes, died March 7, 1885, and is buried at Robinson, IL.
A. B. Park, died Aug. 15, 1887, and is buried at York, Ill.
F. D. Mooney, died March 12, 1888, and is buried at Palestine, Ill.
John Haskel, died June 19, 1893, and is buried at Palestine, Ill.
E. Vernon Taylor died July 13, 1894, and is buried at Robinson, Ill.
Dr. P. P. Connett, died, June 4, 1898, and is buried at Hebron, Ill.
