Died at her home in Martin township, Mrs. Polly Farris on Jan. 7, 1899. The deceased was a Christian lady, loved and respected by all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted at the house by Elder S. Lamb, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Persinger grave yard.
