Robert L. "Bob" Crouch, 70 of Hutsonville, IL, died at Crawford County Convalescent Center in Robinson, IL at 2:20 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2003. He was born August 3, 1933 in Hutsonville, the son of George H. Crouch and Gretchen V. Corbin Crouch. He was retired from L. S. Heath & Sons in 1995 after 28 years of service. He had served in the U. S. Army; had been a member of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549 and the Palestine Eagles.

He married Patricia Schlosser August 20, 1982 and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Torri Crouch, Hastings, NE, and Doug Crouch, Smithville, IN; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Vickie Robak, New Hebron, and Lorri and Todd Price Smithville, IN; 3 step daughters, Teresa Cox, Robinson, Karen Cook, Hutsonville, and Sherry Rankin, Robinson; 17 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Robin Vanetta; and two brothers, George and Clarence Crouch.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine. Rev. John Brand is in charge of services. Burial is in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2nd and until service time on Wednesday. Military graveside services will be held by the combined units of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, the Robinson American Legion Post #69, and the Amvets Post #33.
