Arthur R. Crossfield, 94, of rural Hutsonville, IL, died at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the United Methodist Village, Lawrenceville, IL. He was born February 15, 1910 in Vigo County, IN, the son of Henry Crossfield and Lusetta Wilbur Crossfield. He retired as a farm laborer. He was a member of the Grand Prairie Church, rural Robinson.

He married Betty Graham May 27, 1994 and she survives. He is also survived by his sister, Pearl McGovern, Robinson; 4 stepsons, Shawn Alumbaugh, Bloomington, IN, Carl Alumbaugh, Oblong, Christopher Alumbaugh, Rock Falls, IL, Jonathan and his wife, Tammie Alumbaugh, Naperville; 5 step daughters, Dawn Adams, Robinson, Diana Smith, Robinson, Donna and her husband, Grey Norgard, Jerome, IN, Debra and her husband, Kyle Fulling, Palestine, and Maureen Hayes, Robinson; 23 step grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Almarinda "Rinnie" Newell and Bethel Moore; and 2 brothers, Joseph and Wilbur Crossfield; half brother, William Smith; half sister, Margaret Duvall.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2004 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Burial will be in the Eaton/Grand Prairie Cemetery, rural Robinson. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 p.m. preceding the service.
