Margradell Crew, 77, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL, She had been in declining health following a cerebral hemorrhage in 1997. She was a life long resident of Robinson prior to moving to Flora Health Care Center on November 15, 2002.

She was born December 24, 1926 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Ernest Joseph and Lorice Ethel Stout Liston. She was a retired bookkeeper, having been employed in the Accounting Department at Marathon Oil Co., First National Bank, Crawford County Bank, and LeDo Construction, all in Robinson. She was a member of the Robinson First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Lincoln Trail Campers, and the Pandora Club. She was a wonderful cook and loved to sew and crochet.

She married Howard W. Crew on September 11, 1948 in Robinson and were married for nearly 55 years prior to his death on August 1, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son David Alan Crew; a granddaughter, Michelle Myers; a grandson, Tyler Davis; and her brother Leo L. Liston.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy A. and Woodrow Myers, Salem and Cynthia J. and Jack Davis, Olney; six grandchildren, Woodrow L. Myers, Jr., Terre Haute, IN, Joseph Myers and his wife, Michelle, Palestine, Thomas Myers, Salem, Daniel Davis, Urbana, Jessica Davis, Olney, and Michael Crew, Charleston; two great grandchildren, Ashton and Vincent Myers, Farmersburg, IN; her sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and Harold Miller, Robinson; her brother and sister-in-law, Albert Eugene and Betty Liston, Fishers, IN; two nephews, Kent Miller and his son Brent, Robinson, and Dennis Miller and his wife, Ruth and daughter, Emily in California; three nieces, Sharon Yeakley, and her husband, Jim, Peoria, Janet Nelson and her husband, Roger, North Carolina, and Laura Loconsole, and her husband, Rob, Blue Bell, PA; and her sister-in-law, Judith Liston, Blue Bell, PA.

Funeral services are Wednesday, October 13th at 9:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Interim Pastor, Rev. Robert Harris is in charge of services. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 12th.
