Doris Rahdelle Correll, 78, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at her residence. She was born February 27, 1926 in Annapolis, IL, the daughter of Rev. Leonard Chapman and Edith Dart Chapman. She retired as bookkeeper for Robinson Sheet Metal. She loved painting, needlework, and family.
She married Marlin C. Correll June 30, 1946 and he survives. She is also survived by her 3 daughters and her son-in-law, Brenda and Gene Hoke, Robinson, Virginia "Gini" Correll, Robinson, and Marla Correll, Robinson; 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Duane and Beth Hampsten, Kalamazoo, MI, Darrell and Jennifer Hampsten, Troy, IL, Deborah Hampsten and special friend, Robert Riddle, Highland, IL; 6 great grandchildren; Drew Penny, Justin Penny, Emily and Daniel Hampsten, Emma Hampsten, Natalie Hampsten, Robert Riddle IV; step grandson and his wife, Troy and Celine Kincaid, Robinson and their children, R.J, Josh, Jeremy, and Jessica; step grandson and his wife, Todd and Barb Kincaid of Petersburg, IN and their children, Savannah, Ian; step grandson and his wife, Dwain and Tammy Mendenhall of Oblong and their children, April, Robby, Aaron, and Ethan; and step grandchildren, Mike Hoke, Allen Hoke, Robinson, and Amber Hoke, Terre Haute, IN; 6 sisters-in-law, Mary Mikeworth, Robinson, Ellen Williamson, Robinson, Evelyn Perry, Chesterton, Clara Correll, Hutsonville, Ruby Tracy, Bridgeport; and Lilly Wilson, Robinson; and a brother-in-law, Rev. Grant Correll, Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Daniel Russell Hampsten.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 17th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Harlan Grant Correll in charge of services. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Annapolis, IL. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 16th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association or to the American Heart Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
