Wanda L. Bonnell, 78, Flat Rock, IL, died at 10:35 p.m. February 24, 2007 in the Long Term Care Unit of Crawford Memorial Hospital.
She worked for the Crawford County State Bank for several years and was a member of the American Legion Aux. Post #69 in Robinson.
She was born June 15, 1928 in Honeycreek Township, the daughter of Lloyd Siler and Ollie Sears Siler.
She married Lowell David Bonnell, June 15, 1947 and he preceded her in death January 6, 2001. She was also preceded by her parents, 2 sons; David Lee Bonnell and Donald "Donnie" Wayne Bonnell, 3 sisters; Eva Burcham, Marie Watts and Marjorie Sparks and a brother; Harold Siler.
She is survived by 3 grandsons and wives; David and Shiloh Bonnell, Flat Rock, Tim Bonnell, Robinson and Chris and Angela Bonnell, Flat Rock, 2 great-grandsons; Wyatt Bonnell and Wylie Bonnell both of Flat Rock, her sister; Eileen Mikeworth and her brother and sister-in-law; Charles and Elaine Siler all of Flat Rock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
