Loretta K. Bonnell, age 50 of Flat Rock, IL, died Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 2:45 a.m. She was born April 7, 1955 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of Robert and Virginia (Winters) Shaw. She was a secretary for Kemper Accounting Service, Robinson for 7-1/2 years, and was a member of the Flat Rock United Methodist Church.
Loretta married Donald Wayne Bonnell on May 24, 1974 and he preceded her in death on June 5, 1997. She is also preceded by her parents and her father-in-law, Lowell Bonnell.
She is survived by her 3 sons and daughters-in-law, David Wayne and Shiloh Bonnell, Timothy Ryan Bonnell, and Christopher Robert and Angela Bonnell all of Flat Rock; her 2 grandchildren, Wyatt and Wylie Bonnell; her sister and brother-in-law, Lee Ann and Robert Stusnick, Shawnee, OK; her mother-in-law, Wanda Bonnell, rural Flat Rock; her aunt and uncle, Robert and Iona Winters, Decatur, and an aunt, Florence Fleenor, Decatur.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, 2006 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1st, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, Vincennes, IN, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
