George Neil Albin, 73, of Robinson, IL, passed on to Heaven to be with our Lord, on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. He was born July 25, 1934 in Seminole, OK, the son of George Albin and Goldie Hoke Albin.

He served in the U. S. Army at Ft. Benning, GA in 1957. Neil was a dedicated employee at Marathon Oil Company as an engineer for 40 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Robinson and the Robinson Elks Lodge #1188.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Albin White and Jim, Dallas, TX; his son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Albin and his wife, Cindy, Ames, IA; his four beloved grandchildren, Carson, Garrett, Alex, and Julia; his brother, Gary Albin and his wife, Janice, Lorida, FL; his nieces and nephew, Andy Albin, Amy Brown, and Rachel Albin; his aunt and Uncle, Mary Dean and Jerry Correll, Robinson; several cousins, Larry Albin, Clifford Albin, Richard Albin; and a special friend, Mary Mefford, Robinson, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Rev. Max Borah officiating. Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 -- 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14th at the funeral home. Your word, Oh Lord is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
